Director
Ian
is a management development consultant with considerable experience
of one-to-one coaching and the facilitation of management
development at all levels from supervisory to executive management.
After
gaining an honours degree in Applied Biology, he gave up his
aspirations of a life in scientific research and joined the
commercial world. During his 25-year career to date, Ian has
applied his knowledge, skills and experience in a wide variety
of business sectors including automotive, aviation, ICT and
high street retail.
Ian
has great experience of change management and experiential
learning techniques having featured in the development and
delivery of two significant culture change programmes within
the automotive sector. Ian places great emphasis on personal
and team motivation for positive results and brings an infectious
enthusiasm to his training delivery style. He is also able
to draw on considerable project and account management experience
and has worked extensively in Europe and across cultures.
In
recent years, Ian has become certified and experienced in
using the established and proven DISC model for behavioural
profiling and Eduard Spranger’s PIAV model for analysing personal
interests, attitudes and values in relation to motivation
at work. He is currently undertaking certification training
in Bigby Havis & Associates’ Strategic Success Modelling
(SSM) process and has a keen interest in competency modelling.
Ian
derives great pleasure in business from helping people get
the most from their colleagues, their clients, their suppliers
and themselves in the work environment. He also derives great
pleasure from his time with his wife and family and is a keen
supporter of Bath Rugby, Brighton & Hove Albion FC and
Williams F1 Racing. (We all have our crosses to bear. Ed.)
